⚙️ Installation & Setup

1️⃣ Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/your-username/job-application-tracker.git
cd job-application-tracker

2️⃣ Create Virtual Environment (Recommended)

python -m venv venv

Activate:

• Windows:

venv\Scripts\activate

• Mac/Linux:

source venv/bin/activate

3️⃣ Install Dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

Or manually:

pip install streamlit pandas plotly streamlit-cookies-manager

▶️ Run the Application

python -m streamlit run main.py

Open in browser:

http://localhost:8501

🔑 Usage

1. Sign up with your name, email, and password
2. Login to access your dashboard
3. Add job applications from the sidebar
4. Track job status (Applied, Interview, Offer, Rejected)
5. Edit or delete applications anytime
6. View analytics using charts

🔐 Security Note

• Passwords are currently stored in plain text
• Recommended improvement: use hashing (e.g., bcrypt)
