Refreshes the 3.3 release docs so they match everything merged through 3.3.0-beta.3 (GA criterion 5 in #8600). The authoritative list is CHANGELOG 3.3.0-beta.1 to beta.3 on origin/main. Every PR number added was checked with gh pr view.

  • Release notes (Version 3.3.0): beta checkpoints table with dates (beta.0 to beta.3), feature index, behavior changes (new MUSTs, loosened guarantees, deprecations), the experimental surfaces table (12 new feature ids, checked against experimental-status.mdx), and the withdrawn-from-3.3 section (definition pins, purchase rights, installment selection; commercial-terms stays closed, Minor releases sometimes break older buyers, and our versioning rules disagree about whether that's allowed #8501, feat(schemas): withdraw definition pins, purchase rights, and installment selection from 3.3 (planned for 4.0) #8537). Withdrawal timing verified against dist/schemas.
  • What's new: a "New in beta.1 and beta.2" section, the envelope in beta.3, version negotiation and closed schemas, updated feature ids, adopter table and decision statuses.
  • Migration guide: new required-behavior sections (request_account as the single account write, the envelope with status required, DR-0034, DR-0036, capabilities bounded by structure, package retention, mixed creative approval startup); webhook signing mode (fix(webhooks): the buyer chooses the signing mode, and the HMAC rejection is a task error #8475); adopt-by-capability sections (live creative updates, reporting subscriptions, seller offers, price adjustments, execution readiness, gender targeting, signal pricing groups, provider-initiated delivery, measurement provenance); checklist rows 35 to 44; "Send only to 3.3 peers" rows; deprecations; compliance. Also fixes a stale installment-selection anchor and the beta.0-only checklist rows.
  • 3.3 beta program: beta status and the four-checkpoint version-string table, SDK guidance (@adcp/sdk 17.0.0-beta.6 or later; beta.6 bundles beta.1, beta.10 bundles beta.2, nothing bundles beta.3; Python pending adcp-client-python#1560), and the in-review table rebuilt from the 28 open 3.3.0 milestone issues.

Checks run: docs-nav validation, schema-link lint, owned links, mint broken-links, and an internal link/anchor script over the four pages. test:snippets fails in unrelated testable pages (get_products, sync_creatives) that need a live test agent. None of the four pages is testable.

Judgement calls:

  • DR-0036 is described as proposed (its status in the record); DR-0027 to DR-0030 as accepted.
  • choose-your-sdk.mdx still names @adcp/sdk beta.8; it is out of scope here.
  • The milestone was being closed out while this was written. The in-review table reflects the open set at 2026-10-31 19:50 UTC.

Release notes, What's new, the 3.2 to 3.3 migration guide and the beta program
page now match CHANGELOG 3.3.0-beta.1 through beta.3: beta checkpoint dates,
the feature index, behavior changes, experimental surfaces, account identity
and request_account, the protocol envelope, DR-0034 and DR-0036, capabilities
bounds, undisclosed rosters, live creative updates, reporting subscriptions,
the commercial experiments, SDK guidance, and the refreshed in-review table.

Ladon verdict: Approve

Approve — docs-only snapshot refresh.

This PR updates the 3.3 release notes, What's new page, 3.2→3.3 migration guide, and beta program page through 3.3.0-beta.3, plus a correctly-scoped patch changeset (296 add / 112 del across 5 files).

Verified:

  • Changeset present and patch-appropriate — no wire/schema change.
  • No dist/** immutability concern.
  • All new/renamed internal anchors resolve (request_account, protocol-envelope, DR-0034/0036, capabilities-bounds, live-updates, reporting-subscriptions, commercial-experiments); fixed installment-selection link matches its heading; no dangling references.
  • Envelope field list at migration L371 matches core/protocol-envelope.json exactly with status required.
  • SDK version mapping consistent across pages; DR-0034 citation matches the record.
  • Naming conventions (AdCP / AgenticAdvertising.org) correct; no real-brand or character-bible violations.

high_risk is true only from docs/reference/** (modified) matches with no medium-or-higher findings — presumed safe. No gated paths, no no-auto-approve team match, no prior decision. No Critical/High/Medium findings (only a self-disclosed out-of-scope Low, dropped). Falls through to row 9.
