Independent bounded dependency review at 75b7032. No blocking finding for the affected OpenAI Agents tracing adapter.
Compared parsed lock pins against the parent: only mcp and mcp-types change, both 2.1.1 -> 2.2.0; the remaining edit is a generated via-comment. A fresh Python 3.12 environment installed both requirements/sdk-openai-agents.txt and the adapter's requirements/adapters-trace-090.txt with --require-hashes. Final metadata confirms mcp/mcp-types 2.2.0, openai-agents 0.22.3, openai 3.24.0 and agentrust-trace 0.11.0. pip check passes.
All 30 tests in integrations/openai-agents pass, including the real released Agent/TracingProcessor path with its scripted model and secret-exclusion check. The test process removed OPENAI_API_KEY and blocked AF_INET/AF_INET6 socket.connect, recording zero attempted internet connections. Initially 28 passed and 2 setup errors arose from inherited SOCKS proxy variables requiring an undeclared optional socksio package; clearing proxy variables for the offline test process resolved those setup errors without changing code/dependencies or allowing network calls.
Exact-head trace-adapters, Examples/Examples smoke, Demos, lint, integration validation, integrity and CodeQL workflows succeeded. Diff whitespace passes; source unchanged.
I also read the upstream v2.2.0 release notes: https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk/releases/tag/v2.2.0 . Its redirect, idle-session and OAuth behavior changes remain deployment considerations; these offline tracing tests do not establish remote MCP HTTP/OAuth compatibility, security of the SDK as a whole, or absence of advisories. The affected adapter observes SDK tracing callbacks rather than implementing those transport/authentication paths. Normal maintainer approval policy remains separate.
Bumps mcp from 2.1.1 to 2.2.0.
