Shared grocery ordering for flatmates — powered by Swiggy Instamart.
SplitCart lets flatmates and PG residents collaboratively build a single Instamart cart, split the cost by person, and place one consolidated order. No more "add my stuff too" WhatsApp messages or manual UPI splits after delivery.
Shared households order groceries individually — multiple orders, multiple delivery fees, multiple coordination headaches. There's no native way to do this on Swiggy today.
- Create a Cart Room — one flatmate creates a shared session and gets a link
- Everyone Adds Items — flatmates open the link and add their items to a shared Instamart cart
- Auto Split — SplitCart calculates each person's share of the total
- One Order — the host places a single Instamart order for the whole house
- Frontend: Next.js
- Backend: Node.js (server-side MCP integration)
- Commerce: Swiggy MCP — Instamart tools for search, cart, and order
- Hosting: Interserver VPS
- Auth: Swiggy OAuth 2.0
SplitCart integrates with Swiggy's MCP (Model Context Protocol) to access Instamart's search, cart, and checkout tools server-side. All commerce actions happen in real-time via Swiggy's APIs — no data is stored or cached beyond the active session.
In development — Swiggy MCP access pending approval.
Built for India's 50M+ shared household residents who order groceries together but pay separately.
