Summary

  • docs/architecture.md:

    • engine#237 is closed. The round went in the documented order on 2026-10-01: the app first (adaptive-learner#3529), then the template with the audit's copy gone (adaptive-learner-content-template#96), then the ten repositories.
    • The rule-ownership section now says the app pins 0.35.0.
  • README.md, "What this is NOT": checked claim by claim against the code. Each still holds:

    • the domain field with known values plus other (W-DOMAIN-UNKNOWN);
    • the extension tier;
    • the domain repositories linked below;
    • no lessons shipped;
    • no rendering, grading, scheduling, persistence or networking.

    One sentence is added to "not a runtime". Since 0.34.0 the engine resolves a parametric exercise into an instance (resolveExerciseVariables, a pure function over the random source the consumer passes in), and the grading presets are a catalog, not grading code. Without it, "not a runtime" reads as if the engine computed nothing at answer time.

Test plan

  • make prose-check: OK.
  • src/links.test.ts, readme-exports.test.ts and docs-version-claims.test.ts: 396 passed.

…re data

"Not a runtime" still holds for rendering, grading, scheduling,
persistence and networking, but since 0.34.0 the engine resolves a
parametric exercise into an instance; the sentence now says so, and
that the grading presets are a catalog, not grading code.
