This PR releases 0.59.1. It ships one fix, #664 — rm no longer counts a commit and the commit that reverts it.

What changes

  • dl <ws> rm and dl --ls --json no longer count a commit and the commit that reverts it. #664 has the details.
  • The version moves from 0.59.0 to 0.59.1 in all four copies: rust/Cargo.toml, rust/Cargo.lock (by cargo update -w --offline, 5 workspace crates only), the README conda badge and the README dl --version transcript.
  • CHANGELOG.md gets the ## [0.59.1] - 2026-10-01 heading. The entry already had the PR number.

No public API changed, so this is a patch bump.

How I checked it

  • pixi run cargo build --locked -p dl, then ./target/debug/dl --version prints dl 0.59.1.
  • pixi run test: 839 passed.
  • git diff rust/Cargo.lock changes only the 5 workspace crates.

Reviewer's guide (collapsed on small PRs)

Reviewer's Guide

This patch release packages the existing #664 behavior fix, which makes rm and dl --ls --json avoid counting both an original commit and its revert. The PR itself updates the coordinated 0.59.1 version metadata and documentation, adds the dated changelog heading, and limits lockfile changes to the five workspace crates; no public API changes are introduced.
