test(adapters): fix the racy V2 SSE-reconnect e2e test on Windows - #898
Conversation
The V2 SSE-reconnect end-to-end test failed on every Windows main run since the OpenCode V2 merge (assert 1 >= 2 streams). A gap now probes over HTTP every tick, and the fake finished the turn ~0.15 s after the prompt, so on a runner whose reconnect is slower than a probe tick the probe completed the session before the second stream opened. The fake's sse-drop-once scenario now ends the turn only once the reconnect is up, and the test slows the reconnect to 0.5 s so Linux exercises the losing timing too. Ablation: drop the fake's wait -> assert 1 >= 2.
WalkthroughThe OpenCode V2 SSE reconnect test keeps the fake turn active until the reader reconnects. The test sets a reconnect delay, and the changelog records the test change. No production behavior changed. ChangesOpenCode SSE reconnect test

291-297: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winThe current evidence supports a coverage gap, not a test that accepts an incorrect production result. The fake marks the session complete before it queues the V2 end frames, so the adapter can complete through its HTTP fallback even when the reconnect stream does not deliver the turn-end event. The test only checks completion and that a second stream opened.
Add an assertion for the recorded SSE event, such as checking that the trace contains
session.execution.succeededfor the expected session. This is the minimal assertion that distinguishes HTTP completion from SSE delivery.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

4478-4486: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winAssert that the reconnect delivered the V2 turn-end frame.
After the second stream opens, the fake marks the turn complete and exposes a completed assistant message over HTTP. The gap fallback can therefore return
completedwithout receivingsession.execution.succeeded. The current assertions only prove that the second stream opened.Suggested fix

Summary
tests/test_opencode_http.py::test_v2_e2e_sse_reconnect_delivers_the_turn_endhas failed on the Windows legs of everymainCI run since #894 merged (assert 1 >= 2onstreams.jsonl).Cause. The test races. A gap now probes over HTTP on every tick (4184732). The fake's
sse-drop-oncescenario finished the turn about 0.15 s after the prompt. On a runner where the reconnect (a fresh httpx client) is slower than a probe tick, the probe saw the settled turn and completed the session before the second event stream opened. The adapter behaves correctly here; only the test's premise fails.Fix (test-only).
sse-drop-onceturn ends only once the reconnect stream is up. Until then an HTTP probe reads busy, so the turn end arrives on the reconnect however slowly the client reconnects. The wait is bounded at 10 s, so a reader that never reconnects still fails the test.reconnect_sleep_sto 0.5 s, so Linux exercises the timing that loses on Windows.Verification
