Mergify is a Github app which helps in doing backports and much more. This PR enables the mergify bot to open PRs against release branches. You will simply needs to comment on a merged PR: @Mergifyio backport <branch> Signed-off-by: Alice Frosi <afrosi@redhat.com>

I have been testing this against https://github.com/bootc-dev/operator-ci-sandbox and it seems doing what we want, see for example this PR bootc-dev/operator-ci-sandbox#2 which automatically opened this: bootc-dev/operator-ci-sandbox#3 |
