The custom quests feature is really useful for everyday on the go mapping.
As mentioned in #1006 I use it quite extensively.
That said, I would find it helpful to combine filter conditions in groups. The examples below show the behavior I mean; I’m not suggesting a particular format.
Opening hours for different kinds of places
opening_hours is missing
AND (shop=supermarket OR amenity=pharmacy)
This could be one quest instead of two nearly identical ones. Opening hours are useful to collect and cannot be inferred from the place type. They are also among the established StreetComplete quests.
Lighting on selected roads and paths
lit is missing
AND (
highway=residential
OR (highway=path AND foot=designated)
)
The extra foot=designated condition should apply only to paths. With the current filters, it also restricts the residential roads, so I would need to split the quest or ask it on a broader set of paths. StreetComplete uses this kind of distinction in its lighting quest.
