Adding a new talk

  1. Create a folder, e.g. some-conference-2027/, with index.html at its root and any assets in img/.
  2. Use relative paths for assets (img/foo.png, never /img/foo.png) — the site is served from a subpath.
  3. Add one entry to the TALKS array at the top of the root index.html, and a row to the table above.
  4. Commit and push to main. Pages redeploys automatically in a minute or two.

Notes

  • .nojekyll disables Jekyll processing — files are served exactly as committed.
  • Decks are self-contained static HTML (inline CSS/JS); the only external dependency is Google Fonts.
  • Keep images reasonable — resize photos to ~2400px on the long edge before committing.
