Cipher Units exists to build open-source tools, together, by developers, for developers. We want this to be a space where anyone — regardless of experience level, background, nationality, gender, or identity — feels comfortable opening an issue, submitting a PR, or asking a question.
- Be respectful and constructive in discussions, reviews, and issue threads.
- Assume good intent; ask questions before assuming bad faith.
- Give and accept feedback gracefully — critique the code, not the person.
- Keep discussions on-topic and professional in public spaces (issues, PRs, discussions).
- Respect maintainers' time: search existing issues before filing new ones, and keep reports/requests clear and actionable.
- Harassment, insults, or personal attacks of any kind.
- Discriminatory jokes, language, or imagery.
- Publishing others' private information without consent.
- Sustained disruption of discussions, issues, or reviews.
- Any conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
This applies to all spaces maintained by Cipher Units — repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, and any other official communication channel — as well as to anyone representing the project in public spaces.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to cipherunit.dev@gmail.com. Reports will be handled confidentially, reviewed promptly, and taken seriously.
Maintainers may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct, and may temporarily or permanently ban contributors for behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, or harmful.
