Budget Master 9000 wants none of that.
You get a simple desktop app that helps you answer:
- What did I plan to spend this month?
- What did I actually spend?
- Where should I tighten up next month?
Your numbers stay on your computer.

- Download the latest version for Windows.

No other software is required. No accounts to create. No setup scripts.
On first open you can start blank, load a demo budget, or bring in a backup file.
Windows 10 or 11, 64‑bit.

| Transactions | Record spending anytime. Choose a line, enter an amount, submit. Sort the table by clicking column titles. |

Your version number is in the lower left. When the app can reach the internet and a newer version has been published, an Update available notice appears there automatically. Click it to download the new package (install files plus short upgrade instructions).
- Set your take-home pay under Settings.
- Build or adjust your Plan.
- During the month, log spending on Transactions.
- Check progress on the Dashboard.
- When you are ready, use Close-Month to finish and save a grade.

Everything is stored on your PC. Optional App Lock helps on a shared computer. It is not a replacement for a Windows password or full-disk encryption. Export a backup before big changes. Clearing data cannot be undone without a backup.
When online, the app may check GitHub in the background to see if a newer release exists. It only downloads a file if you click the update notice. Offline, everything still works; you simply will not see an update notice.
