… match exactly A PPT_NAME containing ":::" now matches only the program point of that name (a name ending in ":::EXIT" also matches the numbered exits). ExtractConsequent writes full program point names, so conditions from different program points are never combined. Also: deterministic output order, restore FileIO.new_decl_format after ExtractConsequentTest, ignore literals when parenthesizing, and log conditions dropped as illegal over booleans.
* SplitterList.get returns no two splitters with the same condition, so a numbered exit point does not get duplicates from the `:::EXIT` section. * The OBJECT fallback in SplitterList.get applies only to PPT_NAMEs that are not complete program point names, and adds each splitter only once. * ExtractConsequent also writes the conditions found at an entry point for the method's exit points. * SplitterFactory limits the length of splitter file names. * ExtractConsequent clears its state on each call, and no longer sorts the program points. * Document that VarInfo.includes_simple_name treats orig(x) as including x. * Minor efficiency improvements; fix type-checking errors in a test.

Limit the OBJECT special case to OBJECT program points.
If a method name contains OBJECT, this check enables useAllIncomplete. For example, with registrations named OBJECT and Unrelated, get("pkg.OBJECTive.run():::EXIT") returns the Unrelated splitter even though its name does not match. Check the program-point tag instead of searching the entire name.

* ExtractConsequent copies an entry-point condition to an exit point only if the method does not modify the condition's variables, and copies to the numbered exit points when there is no combined exit point. * SplitterList.get and get_all share one deduplication, which compares conditions after applying the .spinfo file's REPLACE statements. * SplitterFactory truncates splitter file names by UTF-8 bytes. * SplitterFactory.matchPpt reuses SplitterList.isComplete. * Document that complete PPT_NAMEs restrict where a condition is used only when indiscriminate splitting is disabled. * Strengthen testClusterKey; move SplitterListTest to package daikon.split. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Pull request codespecs#868 also adds SplitterList.remove. With both definitions at the same place, merging the two pull requests yields a conflict that keeps one definition, rather than two methods with the same signature.
…ract-consequent
…te splitters Among splitters whose conditions are identical after REPLACE statements are applied, SplitterList.get and get_all retain one whose condition, as written, uses a REPLACE statement (such as "isEmpty()"), regardless of .spinfo file order. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
A generated splitter uses the variables of the program point for which it was created, so two splitters whose conditions are the same only after REPLACE statements are applied (such as "isEmpty()" and "topOfStack == -1") may test different values. Treating them as duplicates lost conditional program points. Restore the BinaryTree end2end goal accordingly. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The top-level Makefile sets LC_ALL=C, which makes JDK 17 and earlier read source files as US-ASCII, so SplitterFactoryFileNameTest.java failed to compile.

runcluster.pl(#856) usesExtractConsequentto write a splitter info (.spinfo) file. Previously, Daikon could not use some of the conditions that it wrote, and the file did not apply to program points such as:::POINT.&&when an earlier condition was skipped.Sensor.read():::POINToraprogram.point:::POINT(as produced byconvertcsv.pl).SplitterFactory.matchPptmatches a shortened name such asSensor.readonly against:::EXITprogram points.return, as a .spinfo file expects.\oldand\newvalues, theclustervariable, andx != 0for a booleanx. The tests in #856 (
tests/script-tests/runcluster/) check that Daikon loads every splitter in the resulting .spinfo file.
