This draft publishes the reviewed macOS reader registration repair.
The engine checks a live macOS reader against its process start and the database file it holds. The Linux library check exited 0. Native macOS execution is still pending, so this pull request is not a green certification. The external trusted proof applies the reviewed fixture outside this commit. This branch does not add a CI workflow.
