man/figures/logo.png (ships in the tarball, 220KB), referenced via the raw GitHub URL so it renders on both GitHub and CRAN's readme.html. The logo incorporates the R logo ((c) 2016 The R Foundation, CC-BY-SA 4.0), so the logo image is CC-BY-SA 4.0 with the attribution recorded in inst/COPYRIGHTS; package code stays Apache-2.0.
man/figures/logo-dark.png (transparent, light wordmark) serves GitHub dark mode through a prefers-color-scheme source; the plain img fallback keeps the light variant for CRAN's rendered readme and every other light-background renderer. COPYRIGHTS entry covers both files.
tiny is AI-generated (no copyright in the art), so trademark is the mascot's only protection: claim it in COPYRIGHTS with the CC-BY-SA 2(b)(2) carve-out, and mark first use in the README.
