< 8.1to< 8.2so apps on Rails 8.1 (currently 8.1.3.1) can use the gemjson < 3in the Gemfile — json 3.0 madeJSON.parse's options keyword-only, which breaksActiveSupport::JSON.decodeon all current Rails releases (9 of 30 tests error without it). This pin only affects this repo's test environment; consumers resolve their own json version. Remove once Rails ships a fix.actions/checkoutv2 → v4 (v2 runs a deprecated Node runtime)No changes to lib/app code — the gem itself is already compatible.
