On Windows 11 Enterprise (build 26200, 64-bit), Strand's in-app updater downloaded and installed an update. Afterward, the taskbar pin still opened Strand but showed a blank-page icon. Strand kept working, and removing then re-pinning it restored the icon. I saw this with Strand 1.7.1; I don't know the exact versions before and after the update. I pinned Strand while it was running.
I checked the shortcuts: the pinned one still targets the existing C:\Program Files\Strand\strand.exe, but its icon location points to a missing Windows Installer ProductIcon file. The current Start Menu shortcut targets the same executable and points to a different ProductIcon file that exists.
Could the pin have kept an icon path from the previous install? I haven't traced the exact update transaction.
