The Kafka compatibility paragraph in #207 names a test absent from the Flink 1.18 connector suite and overstates per-invocation native-route validation. This replacement records the pinned connector/client pairs, lists the three available 1.18 test classes, and distinguishes compatibility results from native coverage.

Supersedes #207. Published from the canonical repository to follow its no-fork workflow.

Validation: version table checked against both Maven profiles; test inventory checked against the upstream-suite documentation; strict MkDocs build and diff whitespace check passed.

List the connector and client pinned by each Flink line, and distinguish upstream compatibility tests from per-invocation native coverage. The older Kafka suite contains changelog, table and upsert tests; dynamic-table tests belong to the newer release.
