Fixes empty category and tag pages and updates the stewardship announcement date.

Category and tag pages

Every /blog/category/<name>/ and /blog/tag/<name>/ page rendered with no posts (e.g. /blog/category/community/). With Hugo 0.154.5 (used locally and in CI), term pages were picked up by layouts/_default/taxonomy.html (the terms index) instead of term.html, so they showed only the heading and an empty list.

Moved both templates to the layouts root, which Hugo resolves correctly:

  • layouts/_default/term.html → layouts/term.html
  • layouts/_default/taxonomy.html → layouts/taxonomy.html

Verified with a full build: /blog/category/community/ lists 9 posts and /blog/category/announcement/ lists 12, both including the stewardship announcement. Tag pages list their posts, and /blog/category/ still shows the category index.

Post date

Set data-on-kubernetes-community-transitions-to-community-led-stewardship to 2026-11-01 (00:00:00Z, so Hugo doesn't skip it as a future post on builds today).

Move term.html and taxonomy.html from layouts/_default to layouts/ so
Hugo 0.154 renders term pages with term.html instead of taxonomy.html,
which left every category and tag page empty.

Set the stewardship announcement date to 2026-11-01.
