  • Enable cross-platform(Windows, macOS) SPDX output.
  • Require fosslight_util>=2.2.18.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • SPDX reports can now include matched license text from scan results, making license details easier to review alongside reported files.
  • Bug Fixes
    • SPDX output formats are now available on Windows, consistent with other platforms. Reports also associate matching license text with the relevant SPDX entries when that information is present. Empty matched-text results are handled without preventing valid SPDX report generation.

Walkthrough

The CLI now assigns default SPDX output filenames on all platforms and includes matching ScanCode license text in SPDX report items. Scans request matched-license data when an SPDX format is selected. The minimum fosslight_util dependency version increased to 2.2.18.

Changes: SPDX output handling

Layer / File(s) Summary
Cross-platform SPDX filename handling
src/fosslight_source/cli.py, pyproject.toml
The CLI assigns default SPDX filenames without Windows-specific handling and no longer removes SPDX formats or exits when none remain. The minimum fosslight_util version increased to 2.2.18.
SPDX matched-license text
src/fosslight_source/cli.py, tests/test_spdx_license_text.py
For SPDX formats, the CLI requests matched-license data and associates matching text with non-excluded report items. Parameterized tests cover populated and empty matched-text inputs and validate the SPDX JSON output.

This change enables SPDX output on all platforms and attaches matched license text. It depends on a fosslight_util release that may not be installable from public PyPI yet. Confirm that 2.2.18 is published and that its OssItem supports license_texts before merging.
