In PR #966 at
https://github.com/github/gh-ost/pull/966/files#diff-ffeeeb2d78223496445b9b1c1ab1fc589a2e1caad58f9487497810033ffbedbfL3 the preferred go version was changed but the corresponding binary checksums were not. So anybody who ends up running the script on their local machine (because they don't have go installed or whatever) ends up silently aborting partway through the script.
