Corpus pruning can time out, as reported in ClusterFuzzLite issue 89. The SMARTS pruning run lost merge output and skipped independent targets.
Timed-out targets keep their stored corpora while other targets finish, and the run returns
ERROR. Logs include the target, allowance, and captured merge output. Recovery covers minimization timeouts and preserves the divided duration policy.
