Word documents are blue, sheets green, PDFs red, slides orange, images purple, audio and video pink, archives amber and code teal, each in a tinted tile, so the list reads at a glance. The kind comes from the extension first, since old Office and OpenDocument files arrive as octet-stream.

In a bot's files panel every file had the same grey icon, so a Word document, a sheet and a PDF looked alike. Now each kind gets its own icon in a tile of its own color:
Colors live in
files.css, with their own values for the dark theme. The kind comes from the extension first (old.doc/.xls/.ppt, OpenDocument and most media arrive asapplication/octet-stream), then from the media type. Spec 15.1 updated.Checked in the preview in both themes. No real Claude needed.
