Conversation
The README invites contributions and links the new CONTRIBUTING.md and SECURITY.md. Issue forms cover bugs, antivirus warnings on the unsigned releases, and ideas. The status line no longer lists "always allow" as planned: it shipped in #110.

What and why
Getting the repository ready for outside contributors before Botloft is shared more widely:
CONTRIBUTING.md: ways to help, setup, project layout, rules for code (from the project's conventions), the checks to run before a PR, AI-assisted contributions, license of contributions.SECURITY.md: private reporting through GitHub security advisories, supported versions, and what is by design (bots run as the user, no sandbox) vs in scope. Before merging
Private vulnerability reporting is off on this repository, so the "Report a vulnerability" link in
SECURITY.mdand the issue chooser does not work yet. It needs turning on in Settings > Code security. How it was tested
Docs only. Paths and commands cited were checked against the tree.
