Some sites refuse to sign in to a browser that tells them a program drives it (Google shows "This browser or app may not be secure"). This is the light half of the fix; the real-window sign-in comes in the next PR.

What sites saw before, measured with Edge 154 on a test page: navigator.webdriver was true, navigator.userAgentData.brands was empty (overriding only the user agent clears it), and outerWidth/outerHeight were 0.

  • --disable-blink-features=AutomationControlled: navigator.webdriver is false.
  • Emulation.setUserAgentOverride now carries userAgentMetadata, read once at start from a chrome://version tab (about:blank has no userAgentData), which closes before the daemon attaches to tabs.
  • No script is injected into pages; outerWidth stays 0. Spec 21.2, 21.3 and 19 updated.

New test sites_see_a_common_browser (real Edge). Full suite passed twice in a row locally.

Manual check with real Claude Code: none needed. The tool output is unchanged.

Some sites refuse to sign in to a browser that tells them a program
drives it. The bot's browser now keeps navigator.webdriver false
(--disable-blink-features=AutomationControlled) and overrides the user
agent with its userAgentData metadata, read once from chrome://version,
so the brands are no longer empty. No script is injected into pages;
outerWidth stays 0. Spec 21.2, 21.3 and 19 record what was measured.
Edge 153 on the CI lists them as Microsoft Edge, Not_A Brand, Chromium.
