Why

The owner has a 70% keyboard, which has no End key, so Ctrl+Alt+End (spec 24.9) could not be pressed. 60% and 65% keyboards have the same problem.

What

  • The global stop shortcut is now Ctrl+Alt+Esc (RegisterHotKey with VK_ESCAPE):
    • Esc is on every keyboard, including compact ones, and reads as "stop".
    • Windows does not use Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Its own Esc shortcuts are Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Alt+Esc and Ctrl+Esc.
  • A bot cannot press it. Alt+Esc is already among the system keys desktop_press refuses, and the keys test now names Ctrl+Alt+Esc.
  • Updated text: the panel hint in en, pt-BR and es, the code comments, and spec 24.9 (which now explains the choice).

Checks

  • cargo fmt, clippy -D warnings, the keys tests and pnpm check pass.
  • Pressing the shortcut for real stays a manual check.

Compact keyboards (60%, 70%) have no End key, so Ctrl+Alt+End could not
be pressed there. Esc is on every keyboard, says stop, and Windows does
not use Ctrl+Alt+Esc (its own are Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Alt+Esc and Ctrl+Esc).
A bot cannot press it: Alt+Esc is among the system's keys, now with a
test that names it.
