The daily summary (spec 29.2): at the end of the day the crew's chief tells the owner what each bot did, what is stuck and what is waiting for them.

The tool. crew_activity is new, for the chief only (any other bot gets an error that sends it to the chief). Input: hours (1 to 168, 24 by default). It returns the crew's totals and, per bot, the counts of tasks done, failed, expired, open and overdue, a sample of the latest six finished tasks (what was asked and the result, each cut to 400 characters), what waits for the owner (open approvals and questions) and the latest run of each routine. It only reads, and it does not include the owner's chats with the bots, only the tasks the bots gave each other, which the chief could already see as messages.

The card. The crew's Routines tab gets a "Daily summary" card with a time (18:00 by default) and "Turn on". Turning on creates a routine for the chief, every day at that time, overlap skip, missed run_once (if the computer was off, it runs once when it is back), with a request in the owner's language that tells the chief to use crew_activity for the last 24 hours and write at most 12 lines, most important first, without starting new work or writing to other bots. After that the card shows "On · every day at 18:00" with Turn off and Change (the normal routine editor), and the routine is in the list like any other, with "Run now". A crew without a chief has no card. The app knows the routine by its request naming the tool.

Cost. Each summary is a turn of the chief, which uses a little of the owner's plan; the spec says so and turning it off is one click.

Stacked on #234 (crew templates) and the PRs below it; merge those first. Spec 29.2 and a row in 19 for the real-Claude check.

Checks

  • cargo fmt, clippy -D warnings; the whole daemon suite passes, with three new tests for the tool (a done and an open task, a question to the owner counted, only the chief and the window limits) and the tool list updated (41 tools)
  • pnpm check passes (564 tests, three new)
  • Looked at in the preview with the fake daemon: the card, turning it on, and the routine in the list

Manual (needs the real Claude Code)

In a crew whose bots have already done a few tasks, turn the summary on and use "Run now" on the routine. The chief should load crew_activity through ToolSearch, write the summary in the owner's language in up to 12 lines, not start new work or message other bots, and the run should close as done. Recorded as "to verify" in spec 19.

The chief gets a new tool, crew_activity: for the last 1 to 168 hours (24
by default) it reports, per bot, the tasks done, failed, expired, open and
late, a short sample of the latest ones with what was asked and the result,
what waits for the owner (approvals and questions) and the latest run of
each routine. Only the chief may call it; the chats with the owner are not
included.

The crew's routines tab gets a "Daily summary" card: pick a time and turn
it on to give the chief a routine that runs every day, with a request in
the owner's language that tells it to use crew_activity and write a short
summary. It is an ordinary routine afterwards: it shows in the list, can be
changed, turned off or run now.
