Welcome to the Web SDK Wiki. The README is the reference for the SDK's options, slots and events; these pages cover integration recipes and the operational detail around them.
- The latest changelog for a summary of fixes and improvements.
- The Upgrade Guide for the breaking changes between releases.
7.0.0 is a breaking release. The SDK is now an ES module only — a classic <script src="..."> tag no longer executes, require() is unsupported, and the window.IProov global has been removed. The default camera filter also changed from shaded to clear, which changes how every claim looks unless you set filter explicitly. Read the Upgrade Guide before you deploy it.
If you need any assistance with an upgrade, we're always available at support@iproov.com.
We support any framework version that is still receiving security patches from its maintainers. Where a framework publishes a support policy, that policy is the reference rather than a version number on this page — so these guides stay accurate as each support window moves.
- Angular (Standalone, Zoneless) — any actively supported Angular version, which at the time of writing is v20 and above
- React (Hooks) — React 19 and above. React publishes no support policy and patches only the latest major; see React versions
- Next.js (SSR, Dynamic Import) — any release in Active or Maintenance LTS under the Next.js support policy, which at the time of writing is v15 and above
- Vue (Vite) — Vue 3 and above. Vue 2 reached end of life on 31 December 2023 and receives no further patches
- Serving Assets And CORS — hosting the SDK's runtime assets on your own origin.
- Content Security Policy — the directives the SDK needs.
-
Cross Origin Isolation —
COOP/COEP, and the one setting that breaks the Iframe Bridge. - Package Size — what the SDK adds to your bundle, and what your users download.
- User Gestures — which capabilities need a real user gesture, and what silently breaks without one.
- Camera Selection Example — letting the user pick between multiple cameras.
- Liveness Support Checker Example — gating the journey on device support.
