Summary

Create the local index output directory before invoking chart-releaser. Release run 38922889916 uploaded the Magpie package successfully but could not write .cr-index/index.yaml because its parent directory did not exist.

Verification

• Reproduced the exact missing-directory failure with chart-releaser v1.8.1 in a clean disposable clone.
• The same command succeeds after mkdir -p .cr-index; the resulting index contains Magpie 0.1.0 and preserves the existing controller chart.
• Both strict chart lints, shell syntax, ShellCheck, and git diff checks pass.

Existing uploaded release assets remain unchanged through --skip-existing. The next main push resumes index/site publication.
