I'm a computer science student at Westfield State University, expecting to graduate in 2028. I'm building on professional experience in technical systems, Python scripting, and nonprofit technology projects to pursue software engineering and applied AI.
I completed CodePath's Foundations of AI Engineering (AI110) in Summer 2026 with Honors and I am taking Applications of AI Engineering (AI201) this fall.
A Python application that turns listening preferences into explainable recommendations. The project includes text and structured retrieval, deterministic ranking, SQLite, a Streamlit interface, and optional AI features with local fallbacks. Its documentation distinguishes implemented behavior from evaluation and deployment limitations.
Cadence grew out of my earlier Music Recommender Simulation, a compact CodePath project where I designed and tested the first content-based scoring rules.
Extended a CodePath Streamlit game by fixing state and hint logic, separating game rules into testable Python functions, adding automated tests, and building a Strategy Coach that shows the remaining search interval and a suggested next guess. The repository documents how I reviewed AI-generated suggestions and corrected mistakes during development. The Strategy Coach uses deterministic game logic rather than a runtime AI model.
A CodePath project extension using Python classes to organize pets, recurring care tasks, and owner availability. It includes conflict handling, greedy rescheduling, an optional dynamic-programming scheduling strategy, and automated tests.
These projects document design choices, verification, and areas for further work.
- Java and object-oriented programming
- Systems programming and Linux development tools
- Applied AI, retrieval, software testing, and evaluation
I'm seeking Summer 2027 software engineering internships. I'm especially interested in backend development, applied AI, and software that solves practical problems.
