X Engine consists of several parts:

• Core components (database engine, mailer subsystem, etc)
• XCMS, a content management system
• XSM, a student management system
• YASM, an Yet Another Student Management system (aka XSM 2.0)
• Contest checking helper module
• Administration, deploy and backup tools
