I'm using this dev container exactly like described in readme. However, when VSCode opens Safari with localhost:5000/ nothing is displayed. The same holds true for the internal browser of VSCode as well as Chrome. After trying around, I figured out that 127.0.0.1:5000 does show the website without any problems (on all browsers).
When I change the port to 8080 everything works fine. I made the required changes in my fork: https://github.com/suchja/vscode-remote-try-dotnet With those it works fine for me now.
It is very inconvenient to always change the address from localhost to 127.0.0.1 in the browser. So is there any solution to this problem? Obviously it is possible to use port 8080 instead, but I guess there was some reason why it was not chosen in the first place.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
