When a user has a draft saved for a document, they see a message like this at the top of the page:
You have a draft revision for this article saved on 2026-09-17 09:08:16.148508+00:00
In these messages, the time is overly precise (up to milliseconds?), which makes it less readable.
We should consider changing the format completely to make it more human-friendly. For example:
- On question pages, it reads like "Today at 2:29 AM" or "9/16/26, 7:37 PM"
- In contributor forum threads, it reads like "September 14, 2026, 1:04:55 PM PDT"
- For revisions, it reads like "Sep 15, 2026, 11:51:43 PM"
