Employee Management System: Work Track Pro

Introduction

The Employee Management System: Work Track Pro is a desktop-based application developed using C# Windows Forms and SQL Server to streamline core human resource management tasks in an organization. Designed with a focus on real-world utility and efficiency, the system enables smooth handling of employee records, leave applications, departmental assignments, and login/logout tracking through a user-friendly graphical interface.

This project was built following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and demonstrates how event-driven programming in C# can be applied to develop a fully functional and secure management system. The system supports three types of users: Admin, Employee, and Manager, each with specific roles and capabilities. Admins oversee the entire system, Employees can manage their profiles and request leaves, while Managers handle departmental oversight and submit monthly reports.

By automating tasks such as employee data entry, department management, leave approval, and time tracking, this system reduces manual workload and increases accuracy and transparency in employee activity monitoring. The project serves as a practical implementation of database-integrated GUI applications and reflects the application of programming knowledge gained throughout the course.
