- Implemented lightweight channel progression in ResNet18_2D (16->32->64->128) reducing params to ~701K - Added nn.Dropout2d(p=0.3) inside ResNet BasicBlock - Integrated torchvision RandomErasing (SpecAugment) dynamically in SpectrogramDataset - Increased weight_decay to 1e-2 in training config - Updated colab_train.ipynb to mount Google Drive automatically for faster dataset loading
- Removed Dropout2d from BasicBlock and moved Dropout(0.5) to final FC layer - Changed ResNet18_2D channels to 32->64->128->256 (~2.8M params) - Removed destructive RandomErasing SpecAugment from 64x5 spectrograms - Reverted weight_decay to 1e-4
- Changed precompute_stft.py STFT params to nperseg=32, noverlap=28 (resulting in 32x25 spectrograms) - Updated weight_decay to 1e-3 in training config for ideal middle-ground regularization
