Rebased onto origin/main and resolved merge conflicts in scripts/gen-signed-since.sh (and fixtures) plus internal/deploy/remote_layout.go, keeping both sides' intent: numeric prerelease ordering from D-1108 with HEAD's 3-element tuple, and HEAD's *.conf-only wording for D-1146's backup exclusion. Self-test and TestKeptHostConfD/TestIsGeneratedConfD pass. Force-pushed to job/j10-cli-debt-d-0919 at 422faa1. |

Rebased onto origin/main to pick up ratchet baseline updates; nself-ci now passes at fd04686. No code changes were needed — the failure was solely due to main advancing past this branch. |
