Summary

  • Adds check-latest: true to every actions/setup-node step (run-tests.yml ×2, release.yml), matching the existing setup-go steps.

Why

main went red after #278: monorepo-smoke (bun, yarn) failed with
Node.js v22.23.3 is not supported by Astro! ... ">=22.23.4".
Scaffolded projects have no lockfile, so astro floated to 7.4.2, which raised its Node floor. node-version: "22" resolved to the runner's cached 22.23.3. npm/pnpm passed only because they don't enforce engines.

Test plan

  • run-tests, scaffold-smoke, monorepo-smoke green on this PR (ci-testing label)

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

astro 7.4.2 requires node >=22.23.4, but setup-node's cached 22.23.3
satisfied "22", so the bun and yarn monorepo smoke jobs failed on main.
check-latest matches the existing setup-go steps.
