Routine cargo update. Only Cargo.lock changes — no manifest edits, so the published crates' version requirements are unaffected.

What moves

61 packages go to their newest semver-compatible releases. Direct dependencies:

Crate From To
tokio 1.52.3 1.53.1
tokio-stream 0.1.18 0.1.19
mdns-sd 0.21.3 0.21.4
num-bigint 0.4.6 0.4.8
zeroize 1.8.2 1.9.0
thiserror 2.0.18 2.0.21
serde 1.0.228 1.0.229
serde_json 1.0.150 1.0.151
bitflags 2.13.0 2.13.2
async-trait 0.1.89 0.1.92
clap 4.6.1 4.6.7

The rest are transitive.

What is deliberately left out

Major-version bumps. The RustCrypto/dalek stack (sha2, hkdf, chacha20poly1305, chacha20, poly1305, ed25519-dalek, x25519-dalek, rand_core) has to move together and needs a full re-run against the aiohomekit vectors, so it is a separate piece of work. num-bigint 0.5, base64 0.23 and toml 1.x are also untouched.

Verification

  • macOS: cargo test --workspace --all-features --locked — 382 passed, 0 failed, 1 ignored; clippy -D warnings clean; cargo doc clean; builds on 1.85.0.
  • aarch64 Linux (BlueZ stack): same test result; builds on 1.85.0 including bluer / dbus.
  • cargo audit and cargo deny check clean.

Routine `cargo update`: 61 packages move to their newest compatible
releases, including tokio 1.53, mdns-sd 0.21.4, num-bigint 0.4.8,
zeroize 1.9, thiserror 2.0.21 and serde 1.0.229. No manifest changes,
so the published crates' version requirements are unaffected.

Major-version bumps are deliberately left out. The RustCrypto/dalek
stack (sha2, hkdf, chacha20poly1305, ed25519-dalek, x25519-dalek,
rand_core) has to move together and needs a full re-run against the
aiohomekit vectors, so it is a separate piece of work.

Verified on macOS and on aarch64 Linux (BlueZ stack): full test suite
passes and the workspace builds on the 1.85 MSRV on both.

Rust 1.99 adds a pedantic lint that rejects `assert!(x.is_empty())`
in favour of `assert_eq!`/`assert_ne!`. With `-D warnings` it turns
the clippy CI job red on 18 assertions, all in test code.

The suggested rewrites are harder to read for collections, e.g.
`assert_eq!(pairings, [] as [StoredAccessory; 0])`, so opt out next
to the other pedantic lints we already allow rather than rewrite the
tests.

Clippy older than 1.99 prints an "unknown lint" warning for this
entry; `-D warnings` does not escalate it.
