ReliPay for Payload CMS

A Payload plugin that swaps in ReliPay — self-hosted auth + billing behind one API — as the auth strategy for your users collection, and exposes entitlement-based access control.

Status: planning. The issue tracker is the roadmap; nothing is installable yet. Comments and use-case reports on the issues genuinely shape the design.

What this will do

  • Auth strategy: verify ReliPay sessions via the API's JWKS endpoint — Payload users authenticate against your ReliPay Application, no second password store
  • User sync: collection hooks keep Payload user docs mapped to ReliPay end-users
  • Access control helpers: hasEntitlement('feature') / hasPlan('pro') functions for collection + field access — content access reads the same record payments write
  • Admin login: sign in to the Payload admin with ReliPay
  • Webhook sync: subscription lifecycle events update user docs in near-real-time

Planned as @relipay/payload on npm. MIT licensed, like ReliPay itself.
