👨🏽‍💻 My Coding Journey

 Like most parents, my parents wanted me to become a doctor or a pharmacist so I could be in the medical field. Like any other 5th or 6th grader, I just agreed and said "oh that could be cool" and ran with the idea. After one year of science classes in high school, I realized I hated science and couldn't handle trying to become a doctor or pharmacist. Later that year, I found a book on how to code in C++ in the library and checked it out and it was one the best things I ever did - instantly I was hooked on coding and building cool things on the computer. Right the following year I delcared my major as Computer Science and never looked back. I have taken courses in OOP (Object Oriented Programming), Web Development and Information Systems. Since then I've worked across full-stack JavaScript, WordPress, and Shopify — and more recently have been building AI-assisted workflows into my development process with tools like Claude Code.
