Replace empty except blocks in scripts/post-build.py with Path.unlink (missing_ok=True) for optional news sitemap cleanup and fail-fast manifest.json parsing, resolving CodeQL alerts 41 and 42 (CWE-390). Remove broad exception suppression in scripts/validate_spdx_headers.py, add unit test coverage in tests/test_frontmatter.py, and increment release metadata to v0.0.7.
