Snyk is being decommissioned company-wide under ITS-2185, part of the Wiz Code rollout epic ITS-2181. Wiz Code already scans every repo in our GitHub orgs for SAST, secrets, IaC, dependencies and licences, so this is redundant.
Does this break anything?
No. This is a standalone workflow that only ran
snyk monitorand uploaded a snapshot. It ran no tests and gated nothing. It has not run in over 30 days, but it is still armed and would fire on the next push.What happens next
Once the Snyk workflows are gone, the
SNYK_TOKENsecrets get deleted. Merging this now means the build never goes red when that happens.Platform Services is raising these PRs so individual teams don't have to.
