We should implement some form of extension upgrade testing. Some ideas:
- As a start we can do SQL only upgrade tests to ensure that we end up with viable extension objects that can run though the entire test suite at the end
- I think we do not need to worry about including previous .so files in the upgrade tests
- We should find a particular issue/assertion related to a particular extension upgrade step and test that (ie column x wasn't there before the upgrade but is there after the upgrade)
