The existing VS Code extension now exposes the shared Alternative Control editor and exports authored alternatives as a typed knowledge graph. Continue connects to released terraphim-grep through the official MCP SDK, so Concern can retrieve Risk using the same exported graph. Existing extension identities and keybindings are retained.

This also repairs two commands missing from the VSIX: Terraphim IT uses the existing Rust wrapper built from pinned public automata crates; the legacy NAPI command uses the existing health-checked server provider. Invalid graph data, stale source, unsafe export aliases and changed package bytes are refused. The public branch contains only scoped extension/integration source, not private monorepo history.

CI builds one immutable VSIX and tests that same package in Linux, macOS and Windows. Exact-version tags gate VS Marketplace/Open VSX publication and a separate Continue bundle release; release scripts check source ancestry, preserve published bytes and verify anonymous downloads. The linked plan covers Zed catalog and Continue Hub prerequisites too.

Validation:

  • Shared editor: 25 real WASM/host/filesystem tests; TypeScript and ESLint.
  • Existing command repair: 2 Rust and 4 actual WASM/production-loader tests, including extracted VSIX; strict Clippy and formatting.
  • 38 Python checkout/package/release tests (including explicit first-publication Open VSX policy); independent review cleared the repair.
  • Source 673c921 passed all three native hosts in run 38216701669; downloaded saved files were independently hashed, then released grep read each exported graph and retrieved three Risk decisions. The final command repair at clean source 4c45aa2 passed all three hosts in https://github.com/terraphim/terraphim-ai/actions/runs/38218712077 (PR run 38218715264 also passed). Its VSIX SHA-256 is 863f2e39c2cd07084af3391064a3f294384d8db67a090ad197620aeacb15b79e. All 18 saved files were independently hashed; each graph again retrieved three Risk decisions with released grep 1.21.19.
  • Continue actual SDK/released-grep CI passed; baseline has no Concern matches, the same graph retrieves Risk. No native Continue UI or optional provider-synthesis claim.

Root monorepo cargo check fails identically on unchanged public main 0967056 (known MCP API issue https://git.terraphim.cloud/terraphim/terraphim-ai/issues/3325). The standalone extension crate passes its own locked checks. The temporary commit hook targeted that actual modified crate and retained secret/format/config/static checks; global hooks were not changed.

Marketplace account federation is not configured; there is no completed listing claim. Anonymous checks on 13 October found no exact Marketplace listing and no Open VSX namespace/extension. Open VSX requires an existing active version before trusted-publisher registration: the workflow now offers an explicit protected-environment first-version token bootstrap, refuses an existing extension, strips inherited PAT overrides from the default OIDC path, and still requires anonymous exact-payload readback. Failed OIDC never falls back to a PAT. Four direct policy regressions and independent review cover this change; actionlint and all local extension tests pass. Continue now documents the official acquisition/read-only final 2.0.0 lifecycle and retains its local integration and GitHub bundle rather than promising an unavailable Hub listing. Webview/save-dialog UAT, all 41 requirements, native Zed/Continue and upgrade/rollback remain distinct qualification gates. The Zed application fork is untouched.

Plan: docs/plans/design-extension-marketplaces.md. Actual output receipts: docs/verification/extensions-20261012. Private core/LSP source: https://git.terraphim.cloud/terraphim/terraphim-ai/pulls/3484. Existing Zed CI PR: https://git.terraphim.cloud/terraphim/zed-terraphim/pulls/34. Tracking: https://git.terraphim.cloud/terraphim/terraphim-ai/issues/3488.

Refs Gitea terraphim/terraphim-ai#3483 and #3488. Preserve existing VS Code publisher identity; reuse released editor and search bytes; qualify exact packages before publication.

Restore real synonym link replacement from pinned public crates, preserve the legacy autocomplete command through the server provider, and qualify source-bound VSIX assets across Windows and Unix.
