Summary

  • document that Swift packages retain their root LICENSE and standard license badge without a dedicated README License section
  • make consumer setup validation reject dedicated ATX or Setext License headings and conventional standalone license prose only for root Swift package READMEs
  • preserve badges, ordinary inline references, missing READMEs, fenced examples, vendored guidance, and non-package documentation
  • prepare release 0.0.30 by updating VERSION, both README subtree commands, and the changelog

Validation

  • Tests/run_tests.swift — 20 native Swift tests passed
  • Scripts/validate_guidelines.swift — 20 guidelines validated for version 0.0.30
  • Scripts/swift_format.sh lint-strict Scripts Tests .agents/skills/agent-guidelines-audit/scripts
  • .agents/skills/agent-guidelines-audit/scripts/check_markdown_wrapping.swift README.md CHANGELOG.md Guidelines Templates .agents — 25 Markdown files checked
  • git diff --check

Review history

  • initial exact-head Reasoning Relay review found nested-fence and Setext-heading P1 gaps
  • both gaps were remediated and the follow-up exact-head delta review approved the implementation with no unresolved P0/P1 blockers
  • release metadata changes require a final review at the current exact head before merge and publication
