this project was developed as part of csharp-academy challenge and doesn't represent a core or a useful business product however you can use it to play with your children and young siblings who happened to be a computer nerd but will not receive any further core update but pull requests are welcomed

this project was a real testing playground to measure what really I can do with this language keep in mind that my level is beginner by the time of writing this repo with previous experience in python and basic understanding in c++ and java (don't ever try learning java 8)

I didn't plan to make it full oop and I was gonna make a monolithic class with many many partial members but I discarded the idea and refactored everything into oop base

and to be honest I didn't planned to make it fully function TUI but I guess I love over-engineering stuff always and over think it

please guide me through how to plan your project structure and what type of problems generally in programming exercise but please I want guidance on how to think not like a coder like a system designer how to make multiple components communicate with each other and lastly I want an objective brutally honest review thing I can do better based on my current knowledge thing I shouldn't have done am not aiming for praises I want to get a jop in the .net marked and it to be a key for getting outside of my home country so I want to know what wrong and what right to enhance myself

I truly appreciate your review in advance.

@redxeagle1 Project approved! 😄✅ And well done for completing the challenges! I recommend you always do that, as it pushes you and makes you learn faster. Your project has a lot of personality. The UI is very original and it feels almost like an actual video game.

🥋And congratulations! You got your green belt!! 🟩🟩

🔍️ I'm not going to label your project over-engineered. We leave implementation open so you practice whatever you think is needed in your journey. However, as a principle I like to keep things simple. A simple math game needs about 4 or 5 files and perhaps 300 lines of code. It's ok to try interesting architectures as you did but just make sure you can still develop something super simple.

⚠️ DRY doesn’t mean more abstractions. Interfaces, abstract classes, and generics are useful when they solve a real problem, but here they make a relatively simple Math Game harder to follow and maintain. Again, good for practice, but don't make it the only way you can develop.

⚠️ Too much global mutable state. GameEngine holds score, options, question count, completion state, timestamps, and history as static state. A GameSession object would make ownership much clearer.

💡 Prefer int.TryParse() over int.Parse() when validating user input so invalid input can't throw an exception.

💡To be more employable the number one thing I'd focus from the third project, The Habit Tracker (don't worry too much about it in the Calculator project) is Unit Testing. It changes the way you think as a dev.

👪Oh and if possible join our Discord Community and add your username to your profile so you can be part of the community as well. 😁 I tried to find you on Discord to award your belt but couldn't find the username redexagle0 in our community.

☕From your Readme I understand you're really serious about getting a job. Consider getting our 1-on-1 Mentorship program: 🙂

Overall great work!✋🏻Looking forward to seeing your next projects!
