[CUDA] Use redux.sync for eligible full-warp reductions - #3692
Ordinary cross-thread reductions such as T.reduce_max still use a shuffle tree even when a full warp can use redux.sync. On main 837486a, four independent 32-lane FP32 max reductions compiled for sm_103a with CUDA 13.1 produce 20 shuffle instructions and no redux. The same program with this change produces four redux.sync.max.f32 instructions and no shuffles.
Approach
Reuse warp_reduce from scalar and batched AllReduce stages whenever the group is a warp-aligned, unit-stride full warp. The caller checks only thread geometry; the helper owns architecture, dtype, and operator dispatch. This also covers the final warp stage of larger reductions without adding a compiler pass or changing the DSL.
Use integer redux on SM80+ and FP32 min/max redux on sm_100a/sm_100f and sm_103a/sm_103f. Recognize the SM103 architecture and CUDA family-specific feature macros. Delegating to the helper also enables its existing narrow scalar promotions: smaller integers to 32 bits and FP16/BF16 min/max to FP32.
Dispatch supported integer operators directly and let unsupported operators fall through to shuffles. A custom uint32_t reducer previously failed to compile because the intrinsic-dispatch lambda returned void; it now compiles using the existing shuffle fallback. Packed-reduction regressions also retain shuffles, without a duplicate support whitelist in AllReduce.
Keep FP64 on the shuffle path instead of narrowing it to FP32. Use explicit floating-point conversion for narrow scalar types, including CUTLASS FP16/BF16, when entering the FP32 warp helper.
PTX regressions assert the actual redux instructions and absence of shuffles, including ordinary T.reduce_max on all four FP32 targets. Runtime coverage checks signed/unsigned edge values, batched clear=False, NVRTC execution, non-finite values, signed zero, narrow scalar promotion, and exact FP64 results.
Sub-warp, strided, packed, unsupported dtype/operator, and unsupported architecture cases retain their shuffle fallback. Cross-warp shared memory and barriers are unchanged; no end-to-end speedup is claimed.
The broader reduction suite has three existing FP16/BF16 batch-size failures (batch=4 with two outputs per thread, or batch=8 with four). These also reproduce with the unmodified main CUDA templates and fail during lowering, before template compilation; they are outside this change.
BF16 min/max with clear=True under NVRTC also reproduces an existing missing std::numeric_limits error with the main templates and unchanged main compiler. Narrow floating-point runtime checks therefore use the default CUDA backend; FP32 and integer NVRTC coverage remains in place.
👋 Hi! Thank you for contributing to the TileLang project.
Please remember to run pre-commit run --all-files in the root directory of the project to ensure your changes are properly linted and formatted. This will help ensure your contribution passes the format check.
We appreciate you taking this step! Our team will review your contribution, and we look forward to your awesome work! 🚀
Eligible CUDA warp reductions now use hardware redux.sync instructions for supported operations and types. Other reductions retain shuffle-based paths. Tests cover generated PTX and runtime results, and the programming guide documents the supported cases.

The reduction test does not verify the sign of its mixed-zero result. This is a bounded coverage gap; confirm the expected sign on supported devices before adding the assertion.

Explanation
The description states the problem (shuffle trees used for ordinary cross-thread reductions where a full warp could use redux.sync), the approach (reusing warp_reduce in AllReduce stages, dtype/operator dispatch, FP64 kept on shuffles, narrow-type conversions), the test coverage (PTX and runtime regressions), and known out-of-scope failures. It directly describes the changeset, so it is not off-topic or vague.

Check the sign of row 3 in the mixed-zero case.
Row 3 contains +0.0 in lane 0 and -0.0 in the other lanes. The expected value for both max and min is +0.0. torch.testing.assert_close(..., rtol=0, atol=0) compares values, so -0.0 and +0.0 compare equal. The test therefore accepts either sign for row 3, under either operation. A sign-aware min over this row returns -0.0, so a min result of +0.0 passes without detection. The torch.signbit check covers only row 2, where every input is -0.0. That check does not exercise the sign choice between +0.0 and -0.0.
Add an explicit torch.signbit assertion for row 3. Choose the expected sign for each operation. Before you do, confirm that the shuffle fallback on pre-SM100 devices returns the same sign for this row. The test has no architecture gate, so it runs on those devices. If the fallback sign differs, gate the row 3 check by architecture, or remove that row from the sign check.
