ah, that might be an internal bug...But the crack has never shown "version failure" before. It worked on last pre-2026 update perfectly even though it was created earlier. In my case 2026 vers shows this: "Internal error.
The program is started in the restricted mode because a valid license certificate is not installed." - when cracked license is in the folder.
Anyway, i hope the author will have time and inspiration to cast an eye over their script

I`ve been downloading the newest of 2026-series SAI 2 version every day, since the creator updates it everyday.
so today I've installed the newest 2026-07-08 version, that is extracted into "-alpha-" folder. "Crack success", but SAI shows this firsts:
"PaintTool SAI Ver.2 (Mbit) Alpha.2026.07.08
Internal error.
The program is started in the restricted mode because a valid license certificate is not installed."

And than this:
"Errors Occurred.
- Internal state incoherence has occurred"

I'm also with the same problem, really hoping the OP could fix it soon, it's a really big update

I looked at the code of this script and I tried to patch the exe file by hand (I literally copied and pasted the hex code of the replaceN function in the exe file to patch) and I had the same error than using the script. If, with a legit license, you don't have to regenerate the file each time you get an update of the application, then I guess the problem is in the position of the hex string in the hex code, cause is different from a pre-2026 exe file.

I tested this with 2026-07-02b, 2026-07-02 and 2026-07-08 version.
