Bare tinyagent (at a terminal) and tinyagent --help now show the high-level essentials: two examples and a Common options block — -t/--task (with -t - for stdin), -m/--model (providers openai/anthropic/openrouter/ollama; default $AGENT_MODEL, else config model, else openai/gpt-4o), -c/--config, --cwd, --resume, --read-only, -o/--output, --json, --check, --update, -V/--version — then Subcommands and the pointer to --help --verbose.

  • --help --verbose, bare-subcommand help and piped-stdin behaviour unchanged.
  • Brief help line cap 15 → 40 (now 35 lines); new TestBriefHelpShowsEssentials asserts the essentials appear, precede Subcommands, and that every flag named is registered.
  • README and docs/subcommands.md describe the new contents.

Bare tinyagent and tinyagent --help now show two examples and a Common
options block (-t/--task with stdin, -m/--model with providers and its
default, -c, --cwd, --resume, --read-only, -o, --json, --check, --update,
-V) before the subcommands. --help --verbose is unchanged. The brief-help
line cap is raised from 15 to 40, and a new test checks the essentials
appear and that every flag they name exists.
