## Research Questions

FlexiWall explored how surface deformation could support navigation within a data volume. It built on the [DepthTouch prototype](depthtouch.md) and related work on space-time volumes, cross-sections through 3D models, and volumetric medical images, particularly the [Khronos Projector (A)](https://doi.org/10.1145/1187297.1187308), [Deformable Workspace (B)](https://doi.org/10.1109/tabletop.2008.4660197), and [eTable (C)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2A4bLSiX6A).
